All of our teas are made using grains grown and roasted in North America and are brewed and bottled at peak freshness using the same techniques that we use in our own home.
This is the drink that started it all. Our founder, Chat Phillips, first enjoyed this barley tea as a college student in the countryside of northern Japan after traveling for 24 hours straight in the dead of summer. Known as mugicha in Japan, boricha in Korea, and Damaicha in China, it’s been used for centuries to bring people together. It is made by gently simmering roasted barley (and in our case, a hint of roasted corn) until the resulting tea is fragrant and delicious.
Barley tea is rich in antioxidants, contains beta-glucans, which have been linked to numerous health benefits, contains vitamins A and C, and has even been associated with preventing tooth decay. It helps your body relax and improves circulation.
Mint tea is a worldwide sign of hospitality and the perfect complement to barley. Chill out with our refreshing combination of mint, roasted grains, and just a hint of sugar. A rich nutty flavor paired with the herbaceous kick from the mint and a touch of sweet is sure to satisfy the thirstiest of souls.
Mint tea has been known to aid digestion, help as a sleep aid, improve concentration, and help the body relax.
Our Ginger tea is our take on a Korean classic, roasted corn tea, a.k.a. Oksusu cha. Made from roasted corn means it’s naturally gluten-free! The natural sweetness of roasted corn perfectly balances the spicy ginger to create a deliciously refreshing tea. Shake well to get all the gingery goodness!
